Everyone on this show should get all the awards. Best show I've seen since Breaking Bad.

Jared is the weirdest character on TV.
So that's where Blackfish escaped to during the Red Wedding …
Their only commitment is for the TV show fans. It's not their fault GRRM can't be bothered to write a book even when the show passed him.
She believes in stuff, she can't be a nihilist.
Because she has been doing a great job for 2 seasons. This episode alone is worth a nomination.
Also, give Catriona Balfe an Emmy. Or at least a nomination, if the Emmy will go to Keri Russel.
Well, that was depressing.
Am I the only one who thought that Gaad commited suicide by running into a closed glass door? I might have to rewatch the scene, but it looked like he intentionally ran into the door. He might have thought it'll be preferable to whatever the Soviet goons were planning for him and tried the only thing that could…
It is the greatest Shakespeare adaptation of all time.
I think it was the closest to Buster Bluth Tony Hale have ever got.
Poor Catherine.
Selina Mayer is a shitty person.
It's "complete 180 back", not "complete 360 back". Turning 360 degrees is full circle.
Yeah, P&E are far more competent and dangerous than the couple from the article, who seemed to be pretty terrible at the whole spying thing. FBI would bring everything they have to arrest P&E the second they discover who P&E really are.

An interesting article about the story that inspired this series.
USSR in late 80s was very different from Russia in 2000s, when the caught illegals mostly worked. Perestroika and glasnost really sped up the crumbling of USSR (I remember some of the late 1980s events, even though I was born in 1979). Suddenly, people questioned everything they knew about their country. I want to see…
I thought something would happen to Martha en route to USSR, but I was wrong. This is just not that kind of a spy show. Sometimes a rescue operation is just a rescue operation.
Martin wrote 1 episode per season for the first 4 seasons. His first season episode was nothing special, second season one (Blackwater) was heavily rewritten by Benioff and Weiss, third season episode was one of the weakest that season and only his fourth season episode, the one where Joffrey dies, was really good.
Philip might want a proof that she got to USSR safe. A disgruntled agent is a bad thing.
