There is absolutely no reason to keep Martha alive or parade her in USSR like whatever she did had some sort of ideological background. She was duped into betrayal. If she ever gets to USSR (and there's about 0.1% of that happening), she'll just kill herself in about a week.

"Borscht is better cold"? What kind of a Soviet agent is she? I smell FBI infiltration!

Selina Meyer, of course.

Season 2, episode 3 out of 15, in which about 2 minutes of actual plot development - we finally get a confirmation of Strand's destination - are padded with 40 minutes of boat repairs and everyone being an idiot.

Indeed. Martha didn't do what she did for ideological reasons. Shipping her to Moscow is really not much better than just killing her.

Yeah, once she ran away from Gabriel's house, she's probably concidered not worthy of extraction and is up for assassination. Martha's days are numbered.

I don't think she has much to offer to FBI. She only knows how Phillip and Gabriel look, and a location of one KGB safe house, which will probably be cleared out soon anyway. I'm not sure it'll be enough for a deal.

Barry is Archer's Cricket.

I love both VIkings and The Last Kingdom (also, a big fan of Cornwell's books it's based on). I think I slightly prefer TLK, but it could use a few more episodes in order to adapt some of the book awesomeness that was left out. Anyway, TLK was great.

I can forgive this show any sometimes unsuccessful attempts at medieval politics because of battle sequences like the one in this episode or the whole siege of Paris in S3. Holy shit, that was intense, chaotic, bloody and awesome. No one does battle sequences like this on TV, and for what looks like half the budget of

Everyone on this show is stupid. Strand for taking the other retards on the boat and everyone else for still not understanding that the world as they knew it is gone.

A literal metric tonne of cocain.

Can anyone explain me why all the characters are OK with an infected dead body on the boat? They don't know that everyone has whatever turns people into zombies. They don't know how it started and how it's transmitted. Why would someone like Strand allow it?

I too thought that the only outcome of Nina's arc is death, but that was sudden and brutal. Annet Mahendru acted the whole final scene perfectly.

You could try the first episode of new X Files. She's there for a few scenes.

Also, the Russian dialogue is spoken by Russian-speaking actors, which is nice. No mangled, almost unintelligible words, but real dialogue. I wonder how the writing process for Russian dialogue goes - is it written in English and then translated?

Mad Men ran for 7 seasons with much smaller ratings. You could argue that this was because the critics loved it, but not a lot of shows survive only on critic love. TWD still has monstrous ratings compared to pretty much everything else on basic cable. I don't see a scenario in which it will not run for at least 8-9

I don't know who are the guys that Morgan and Carol met. Maybe they are from comics and maybe the show's art department really liked Mad Max. It's about time we had Mad Max characters on this show.

Best line this show ever had.

Fuck this show.
