I think its safe to say that no 17 year old girl purchasing a prom dress is going to think about any of this, and just buy something cool that they hope their friends will like. Old bitches like us think about it all we want.

Personal taste aside, some of these dresses are pretty fierce, in an awesome space queen kind of way. They're a fuck of a lot better than virginal fairy princess disasters of prom seasons past. The sooner we kill the princess fantasy, the better, imo.
