I’ve always hated the look of the 2 series. It always looked like a clown car to me. Hood is way to long and everything else is squished. I expect a giant bobble head to pop out of the sunroof.
Subjective styling analysis:
I like that you can fold it flat for easy storage.

Given the market, I'm stumped that Toyota doesn’t bring the Jimny to the US. Doesn't look like it would be terribly difficult to federalize. And drop in a more powerful Toyota engine.

This AMX GT concept is why the Gremlin exists. They wanted to produce this Kammback look on an existing production car. It was an economical adaptation using a shortened Hornet body.
Most hatchbacks are going to the sloped rear glass. This one at least appears to have rear seat headroom.
