I’m not sure it looks great. It certainly isn’t ugly, but it is bland. It somehow reminds me of the anonymity of the NMS Passat. Honestly, I prefer the 10th gen. While the 10th gen has some oddities to it, it as a bit of commitment to something more than blandness.

Due to the hybrid system and modern safety standards, the CR-Z was definitely porky by comparison. At least it was offered with a manual! I don’t know of any other hybrids that were sold with stick shift.

The Honda Element. It was the perfect sport-utility vehicle with the emphasis squarely on utility. A flat floor and low load height meant you could fit things in the Element that wouldn’t fit in a suburban.
