Since Texas changed the registration scheme in the 90s there was no chance of the same registration being used today, so it was no problem. They just verified they were authentic plates, I paid the fee, and it was done. And MUCH better than

So when you register a car as a classic in Texas (25+ years) you can also use vintage plates from the year your car was made. So I did a thing, then added a couple more things, and now I’m almost as 80s correct as a European GT car can be. Except mine runs (at the moment).

A 320 E is a half-facelift, late 1993 only (If memory serves me right) when they had the new generation of engines available but hadn’t changed the nomenclature to E320 yet, W/S124 with a 3.2 liter inline six gasoline engine.
