Except that Yamhill county is suburban Portland, Oregon. The Willamette is between Eugene and the Columbia has heavy recreational use. Feels a bit like landing and taking off on a rural road. It’s not so remote that you can be 100% sure.

Given the market, I'm stumped that Toyota doesn’t bring the Jimny to the US.  Doesn't look like it would be terribly difficult to federalize. And drop in a more powerful Toyota engine. 

It was a pretty solid engine seeming built for durability over power. And it goes a long way back with a side trip through Kaiser > AMC and back to GM. But given its ties to the Grand National, probably shouldn’t be on this list.
