My Grandpa had one he bought new. Was still on the farm 20 years later as the drive-around-the-farm car. I think it was lacking reverse at that point but the HVAC worked just fine so you could keep the gravel road dust out unlike the rusty fleet of 50s and 60s pickups.

Granadas hard to find? Two of them available in Texas!

So if you have 1 of those 240 VOE equipped cars, you have something!  You’d need to run that right over to Barrett Jackson.

I love a sim wood kit on most anything that is otherwise a plain expanse on slab-sidedness.

Cool story. Good rabbit hole links.

Anyway, the interesting thing about Minis is despite the fact that they are big, heavy, ugly, and expensive, they still manage to stand out as small-ish (and almost sensible) in an era that prizes cars that are far bigger, far heavier, and far more expensive. If you’d ever owned an amazing piece of tech called a Palm Pilot, you would know how useful and intuitive this is. Dang kids and their Blackberries ruined everything.

I see a little Inifinti. A little Acura. And, in the proportions, a little bit of a lot of midsized lux SUVs. To my eye, most of all the new Explorer.

So is this based on the Telluride’s and Palisade’s shared platform?

Yep. Good lookin’ beats ugly most days.
