I have a cousin who has the same attitude about gluten. A nutritionist told her all the pasta she was eating was making her bloated and her face puff up (no shit; you can’t literally live off pasta) and it translated to a gluten allergy somehow.

I do this too. Goat cheese is so good! My long-suffering girlfriend just puts up with goat cheese farts at this point.

I read somewhere that she’s struggled with chronic acne. Granted she’s younger than I am, but if her skin is anything like mine, booze might be a trigger she has to be careful with.

Yeah, I was gonna point this out. Nearly my entire family is lactose intolerant - self included - has seasonal allergies and like, it’s incredibly manageable and totally fine.

That’s one of the weirdest aspects for sure. I think maybe she’s just trying to make more money, so going after wealthier folks makes sense.
