Berg’s non-apologized now. I don’t know how to embed instagram thingies or I would. He’s doing the “Oh, I’m for trans people, I’m just concerned about the veterans!” routine. Hasn’t pulled down the transphobic picture, though. Hasn’t apologized for the misgendering. Still a transphobic asshole.
I, too, find that both the Allens have faces meant for punching. It’s based on nothing but gut instinct, though.
She’s bi though. I think the reaction is more about bi invisibility than about people assuming attractive women can’t be queer.
Hulu keeps bombarding me with Paper Towns previews and it looks soooooo bad! I’m convinced Zooey Deschanel secretly made that movie out of spite. “Keep calling me a manic pixie dream girl, will you? I’ll show you a pixie dream girl so manic you’ll gain a newfound appreciation for the gritty realism of New Girl.”
Nothing really. He’s just kind of gross looking, especially with that bleached hair he had. That’s reason enough to think he deserved to die, right? No? In poor taste? That’s ok. His face is pretty weird. I’m secure in my judgement.

You know half of them were texting their outrage while they drove. But it’s okay, they can multitask.
Yes, it is contributory negligence, which is an important distinction. This case in particular is somewhat fascinating to me in that it is a near perfect first-year Torts hypothetical on negligence. There is Jenner’s negligent (but sober) driving, the victim’s lack of a seatbelt and her expired driver’s license, blind…
My understanding of the accident is that it was something that could have occurred with many drivers. Truly tragic, of course. But I don’t think people want to admit that they are just as capable of making the same mistake, so they try to blow up the mistake to huge proportions.
That’s interesting - I practice in Canada, and at least in my neck of the woods, it can be entered into evidence. Not wearing a seatbelt is likely to result in a finding of contributory negligence, which is likely to result in losing a portion of your damages. Are you saying you can’t introduce non-seatbelt use into…
I agree - it’s contributory negligence. If I am injured much more severely because I CHOSE to not wear a seatbelt, then I contributed to my injury. That should (proportionally of course) be on me.
that said, there are a squillion people using the accident and death of ms howe in order to dog whistle and hate on caitlyn because being verbally* transphobic is Bad.
Kanye looks almost happy in that gif!
I move that henceforth, he be referred to as “bigger lego.”
Just wanted to say well done to everyone for dismissing (and not replying to bring out of the greys) the special kind of idiots that the name Caitlyn brings out of the internet woodwork.
Every press photo of David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian is a gift. Also, those kids are spot on as baby Kardashians. Whoever Ryan Murphy employs as his casting director better be making bank because he/she is a genius.
Sweet jokes aside, there are reasons that countries, in particular island countries, have rules about bringing quarantined animals into the country. Flouting the rules endangers your pets as well as the animals in the country you are visiting and it makes you an asshole.
