Here’s Chris Pratt being all cute.

That is totally how a toddler would try to pick up a baby. Babies lifting babies!

In the Biebs’ defense, babies are very huggable.

Dissection Kills? I don’t think that’s what killed them.

Just got into it on the Guardian with a moron who said “we don’t have all the facts yet” about Walter Scott’s killing. Like any fact at all would make it ok for a police officer to shoot a man 8 times in the back!

The sad thing is that the policy for most police departments in the states are totally different than those in Canada and northern European countries. In US departments, officers are trained less, paid less and focus disproportionately on property crimes and tickets (leading to that fun [/sarcasm] John Oliver video on

I think the only way we can change this is to do two things: 1) reform police oversight - no more letting the police investigate themselves and 2) make SANE policy about the sale, purchase and licensing of firearms.

Full story is even worse. Her husband assaulted her, so she grabbed her kids and step kids and went to her parents house. Step kid told his teacher what happened, teacher calls CPS. CPS in this city were recently nailed for corruption and negligence, so they show up, with cops to take all the kids. Mom

No not really in most Western Countries the police brutality is not even close to being as bad as US. USA is in its own league for a country that is supposed to be a "First World Country".

My father was an officer for 30+ years and he said, in all that time, it maybe happened a dozen times. So less than once a year. he’s also only fired his weapon not even half a dozen times, only one resulted in a death (the man that died was going to stab his daughter so I’m not shedding any tears). But my dad said

“Texas rangers are investigating the case.”

It just never ends. Isn’t it clear yet that the entire fundamental nature of policing in this country is broken? We employ them to protect us from bad people and serve their communities. But what they actually do, nearly everywhere, is bully and do harm.

If we’re to believe the reports, everyone everywhere who has any interaction with law enforcement whatsoever lunges for the damn things.

How often do suspects actually reach for an officer’s weapon? That explanation sure seems to come up an awful lot whenever someone is mistreated/injured/killer by a cop.

Nothing says I am a real man than hitting a woman.

I can’t deal with this shit anymore. I want to move to a different country.

Are we at the point yet where we’re just relieved they didn’t shoot her 8 times?

But DAMN WOULD I SEE THEM!!!
