I recently found actual German mustards in, of all places, a suburban Walmart!!! I bought three - honey “Oktoberfest” mustard, spicy, and grainy. They are all so wonderful in their own way. Mustard is god. Mustard is life.

OMG good luck!!! My family is mostly in the Frankfurt area, but Berlin is by far my favourite city in Germany and after London, probably my favourite in the world. But having said that, there’s so many fun cities and gorgeous little cathedral towns in Germany.
OMFG thank you. I spent 13-ish years, including the bulk of my childhood and adolescence, in the States. Was it good? Yes. However, I am white, middle-class, and from a blue state. Your mileage may certainly vary if your circumstances are different than mine.
