Honestly only clicked through because the title made me nearly spit-take. I think I can speak for all of us when I say a follow up post upon completion is owed! It could be pretty awesome.

Are you serious? They do sell the Rabbit here. It's called the Golf. The Rabbit was a US-only name. Maybe that confused you.

I can't remember where I read it, but Nissan is building a motor for this series too I believe. Not sure on which car it would adorn however.

If I had the means, I'd be into a resto. Though I'd go with the 2.3 turbo from the Conquest or if I was really ambitious, fit a longitudinally mounted SRT4 powerplant.

It appears I was a bit hasty in my comment, you are correct.

Wait, the Rabbit was a flop? What planet are you living on? The Beetle R will come with the Golf R's potent 2.0 turbo, so other than the AWD I would still call it a performance version, even if it is driven with the front wheels.

It is, essentially, the English Porsche. That's not a bad thing. Why fix what isn't broken, right? It's a grand tourer, afterall. Not a Zonda-smasher.

So, let me get this straight...Volkswagen of America thinks there is no reason to bring the Scirocco to the US. Instead, they see a market to push a performance Beetle? You're joking right? VWoA is run by a bunch of goddamn morons.

In Frankfurt I found myself in front of what appeared to be a mall, standing there staring at a Bugatti Veyron just behind the glass. When I ventured inside the 2-story mall, I realized it was no more than a huge showroom for a few different brands (and not all related, either). There was the aforementioned Veyron, I

I definitely get that. Yours and Warren'd's are my favorite interpretations thus far.

I can appreciate the car, but not for that price. No matter which engine you put in it, it handled like a wet noodle (in coupe form), and there's no way the convertible made that any better.

The attitude of particular comments makes it clear who's actually worked in the food service biz and who is likely a bad tipper.

I like that they're taking advantage of the attention a camo'd concept car usually gets. We're all going to find out what it looks like anyway, so why not net some advertising time along with it?

The least you could do is relax before taking a comment on the internet personally. Are you a Senator or something? Go suck an egg.

Link doesn't work. And I'm not even sure what you are talking about.

I'm interested to know if Legislators were taken into account for the 'wage increase' study. If that is the case, it would make perfect sense that they would easily top the charts. It's the only career path in the USofA that allows for 'voting' to increase your own compensation.

My first car was a second-gen Impulse RS, and as much as I love the RWD Mk1 platform even I know it isn't worth this much. Take about $1000 of the top and then come back to me. Autotragic and Non-Turbo make this an easy CP.

I hope this sells well, if only to put the ridiculous styling efforts of every other hybrid designed specifically to assist in sniffing one's own farts to rest already. Turns out we Can have mileage without everybody in the neighborhood knowing how eco-friendly you are!

To be fair, it was extremely wet (obviously) on basically corded tires.

I believe you mean to say,
