Now this should have been the COTD. I'll give you the nomination in spirit.

Thank you! I was going to name drop Lil' Wayne, but you beat me to the Young Money punch.

'Totes'?! Are you kidding me? Are you a 9 year old girl? You deserve to be beaten by a giant copy of Webster's.

I saw it! haha. This video gives me goosebumps every time I watch it.

Ha! Well done.

Fair enough, however I'd like to see how the 2 stack up in the long term. Initial quality can only impress for so long.

Fiat was the best thing to happen to Chrysler since that time that they went bankrupt. And that's not sarcasm either, the best thing that ever happened to them was bankruptcy; Seems to be the only way mega-firms like that ever recognize bad business practices and push for new directions these days.

Where did you check that? GM's quarterly powerpoint? Mazda's products might not sell in the same volume as GM, but the quality is definitely far superior when you're comparing the models in competition with one another. Not to mention, they're exciting to drive and still cheap as hell.

Don't take it too personally, this blog is one steaming pile of haterade lately.

If cities-turned racetracks count: The obligatory 'Ring, Monaco GP, Mugello, Spa, Isle of Man.

Editors taking this one a bit too personally, I agree on the cool-factor of the Cobra shot.

If you considered the final 30 years of Pontiac 'new' models, then I don't see why GM wouldn't eventually see a reason to resurrect another GTO or Firebird when the retro fad comes back in another decade or so.

Try NYC, and they make the best damn Pizza you've ever had thank you very much.

Geez, I just noticed this as well. Can't tell if these guys are stupid or that their balls are as big as those rear tires?

I mean...they already 'killed it' once before. Considering Mitsubishi killed the Evolution because it wasn't in line with a 'green' future, why wouldn't this be just as likely?

Exactly, as if we all have these 'junkers' rotting away in our backyards because they're too 'simple'.

This is the obvious #COTD, no?

Doesn't that particular example have a Subaru drivetrain too? You might win with this one.

I see your aircooled and raise you this...pun intended. Combine all the simplicity of the bug with the space and utility of a a van+camper special. Stove, sink, bed, storage, cheap, how can you go wrong?

You might say it comes down to the driver because of the pseudo-spec format. Not sure what you're getting at with the tech jab. Every racing series ever has had their own sets of rules and technology allowed.
