Damnit. We strategically bought Universal Studios season passes to cover the first half of the year so we could combo Universal in the morning with OWL in the afternoons/evenings. We now lose about 6 weeks off that plan and it puts OWL in direct competition with my son's youth baseball. Oh well. #firstworlsdproblems

Counterpoint: A fried, dry-brined turkey is incredible. Like can’t-believe-it’s-turkey, incredible. I should honestly make it more often than I do but it's hard to regularly find whole birds at my grocery store 9 months a year.

We have offices in Philly and DC. We're a pretty large company so I don't know about openings offhand but I'd check esri.com/careers.

They’re devout environmentalists so I’d imagine they support Democrats. Martin O’Malley keynoted our User Conference a few years ago, as have Ralph Nader, Jane Goodall, will.i.am and others. Pretty sure they pay their taxes.

Unfortunately, we make enterprise geographic information systems software for governments, utilities, businesses, and nonprofits. We’re B2B so it’s unlikely you’ve ever heard of us.

I love it. I work for a tech company that does legitimately great things and is super progressive. We're honest with reporters and we build genuine relationships. Seeing shit like this in the article gives the industry a worse name than it already has.

I work in PR and I can tell you that’s pretty much the only stick you have with an embargo. Which is why you should only embargo really critical announcements, not shit like this.

If you’re a Potter fan and can’t get tickets for Cursed Child (as my wife and I repeatedly failed to do over a week in New York last month), I HIGHLY recommend Puffs, an off-broadway production just blocks away from the Lyric Theater. It’s two hours long and essentially chronicles the Hufflepuff experience during

I’ve never been into e-sports before OWL but man, the playoffs have been as exciting as any pro sport. I’m a die-hard sports fan so it’s really amazing to have a similar experience watching a game that I love being played at a level I could never conceive. You know, like real sports.

As someone who does not follow basketball, does this pretty much end all of the pearl-clutching about Golden State? They’re just better at this than everyone else, given all available evidence. Unless I’m missing something about the mechanics of basketball contracts?

You didn't click the link, did you?

San Diego really deserves something after almost 50 years of Padres futility and the Chargers dumpster fire.

As a Ducks fan (and therefore just here for the hockey, will be legitimately thrilled whoever wins) with no rooting interest, what a fucking fantastic period of hockey. So many great chances and escalating acrimony.

As someone who loves sports but hates watching basketball (I have a well-reasoned argument if anyone cares), I also need help understanding the LeBron/Durant thing. Although I may be missing some details/context (again, basketball isn’t my thing), didn’t both of them effectively decide they had a better chance to win

Came here for this. Sadly, because he did it against the Padres, most of the world remains unaware.

Since you asked, I will be one of those folks making the pilgrimage to Cooperstown expressly to see Trevor Hoffman’s statue and induction. As a Padres fan, you gotta take the scant few scraps of baseball glory that occasionally wind up in San Diego. My only regret is that Tony won’t be there to share it with him.

The best part about the Blue Lives Matter embrace of the Punisher is that Frank Castle would never be on their side, especially those that commit or cover-up the horrific shit we barely know about.

Show me the legions of players lining up to defend either of these guys. Links would be great.

Yeah it’s pretty appalling. Not a good look in a league with no women.

This is what mystifies me. This is what, the third high-profile fuckup this guy has had in like four months, and yet he still plays for a pro team.
