See also: Battlestar Galactica, Westworld, and... I can’t think of a third. It’s much easier to find bad reboots than highly successful reboots of bad things.

GOD, yes. That knock on their door filled me with absolute horror. I’m glad they didn’t show anything more.

And season 7's amazing “Conversations with Dead People.” Still my favorite episode of the whole series.

Buffy the tv show was actually a reboot of a bad film, so that supports your theory.

Good question. It bugs me that people use all these terms interchangeably. It seems to me that your (1) would be a “revival”, (2) would be a “reboot”, and (3) would be a “spinoff”.

The world of Buffy and Angel is ripe for a revival. We don’t need Sarah Michelle Gellar or David Boreanaz to come back, but there’s no reason that would shouldn’t continue on our television screens.

i’ll keep saying this til i’m blue in the face:
reboot bad things, not good things

Does a reboot mean (1) re-assembling the original cast to continue the original story, (2) recasting the original show with high school aged actors and just starting all over with a new high school Buffy, or (3) it’s now 2018 and whoever is the Slayer now lives in the Bronx or Miami and “Buffy” is just some Slayer

This is what I was thinking, the Buffy and the Scoobies could be in it but not Angel and Spike UNLESS they had a big budget and could do that thing they did in Civil War with Robert Downey Jr. But the new generation of Slayers would make for a great story that wouldn’t sully the original. Most vampire shows/movies

Also the season 5 episode where Dawn tried to bring Joyce back.

I think Buffy created a big enough world with rules and it’s own mythology this would be fine to do. You couldn’t use the old cast really because the actors playing vampires have aged and comics exist, but a new teenage slayer could be great. I’d be curious how it goes and hope they try to keep it a similar tone of

Seriously? If we’ve learned anything from Buffy S6 is that you don’t bring things back from the dead...

Good riddance. I’m not particularly confident that Mike Pompeo will be an improvement, but no one should cry over the loss of Rex Tillerson. Both Republican and Democratic State department vets have called him one of the worst SoS in US history. His “restructuring” of State was incredibly damaging to the

And this, just a day or so after he called out Russia/Putin/FSB for the attempted assassination in Salisbury, England, of former (double-agent) Russian intelligence agent Sergei V. Skripal and his daughter. Better to protect Putin than a decades-long major ally. (Not surprising, though, I guess, since 45 never

Kaley Cuoco wants to be married yesterday.

I have a friend like this. He’d been married for like ten years, but after they broke up he’s just been jumping from one relationship to the next. After he broke up with his last girlfriend, he talked about taking some time and learning how to be single. That lasted two weeks before he got back together with his first

My stepbrother is the same way. His marriage ended in June (she moved in with her side piece); he was dating someone new pretty much the next month, and they got married the following January. Don’t get me wrong—his second wife is a lovely person (apart from the whole essential oils thing), and treats him a lot better

Girlyes. Rn I’m about to be in my best friends wedding. It’s her 2nd wedding I was in her first 4 years ago. And she is nonstop about this dude and even for her bridal shower she said “can I bring him? We really don’t so things separately” and I was just gobsmacked she’d admitted it because I knew it was the reality

She makes nuns die, too.

I will watch The Holiday whenever it’s on. The Jack Black character gets on my nerves a little, but it’s the one Nancy Meyers movie I can stomach.
