Yeah, that’s another one of Kinja’s typical bugs - another is where you star a post and the number of stars is reduced by one. These have been Kinja problems for at least a year a far as I can remember (probably longer than that) and they’ve never been solved.

Also, I’m hoping the influx of very disgruntled AV Clubbers (myself included) will force them to actually improve Kinja. I mean, an AVC’er actually created a Chrome extension to nest Kinja comments in a readable fashion like Disqus does. I mean, good lord, this is someone who did that for free...why can’t they get…

I decided not even to bother after trying because merging Disqus doesn’t work with an existing Kinja account, so I’d basically be logging in and out of Kinja accounts all the time switching between Giz sites and AVC and that is just NOT WORHT IT.
