My wife was driving one of these when we met. Same style, same color. Only difference was it was auto with A/C. Good God she loved that car. I think she wants to but this one.

It has confounded me why so much space is wasted on shift levers in cars. Dials and all sorts of other options would be more compact.
I’m inclined to think that the 300 yards is at least as responsible for the sound abatement as are the trees. That’s a very significant distance. As mentioned, sound vs. distance has an inverse relationship. For each doubling of the distance the sound pressure decreases by 1/2. 900 feet it a pretty big distance for…
I’m not in the buying game. I advocate for the best interests of the community. It's the developers that have to pay for the construction. And there were no actual walls proposed.
Sunday’s weather in NY was awful. My flight into JFK was delayed many hours because of it. I got home at 4 AM Monday morning. Ugh.
I’m the VP of a local civic association and have spoken to sound-abatement experts for several projects in the planning stage. Every one of them has said that vegetation has a minimal impact on dissipating sound - it passes right through. Their advice was the only effective means to reducing any noise is distance…
Frankly, I don’t know if I can believe that a car in 2018 has power locks, windows, AND mirrors.
Round lights, all the way. It’s just feels more correctly VW-ish.
That particular element in isolation? Could be better. The overall look and execution of the design? Hell yeah.
To quote Shakespeare:
Can I give you negative stars for that comment?
Sometimes you have to call a thing what the creator calls it. The guy who modified it gets to name it, so it’s a shooting brake?
I don’t disagree that by now all the RV makers should be aware of the problem by now, and not put these tire on new RVs from the factory.
Shame on Goodyear for knowingly selling the tires to the RV companies for an application they knew was improper.Sounds like Goodyear knew it was an improper application for the tire but didn’t tell most RV makers about it. If the tire maker doesn’t say it’s an improper application, how is the RV maker to know? Tires…
Would love any comparison to a GMC Acadia.
I went shopping for my first new car in 1998. I was close to buying an Avenger - it was an affordable “sporty” car for a young guy. And because I couldn’t afford the Passat I really wanted.
Not in any Mustang I’ve been in. That would fix the fore/aft of the accelerator, but neither the left/right nor the relation between the brake/accelerator. Perhaps just a pet peeve, but I hate it when the brake pedal is significantly higher than the gas pedal.
Anyone else read the title as a “Ducati Scrambled Dessert Salad”? I must need my afternoon coffee.
I think I’m pretty average shaped? 5'10". Maybe the 2017 model is different - I haven’t been in one of those. My last experience was so bad it really turned me off.
I’m 5'10", so definitely not little. My legs aren’t super long or anything either.
