Yeah if we want to talk about lies that is a huge whopper. Dobbs was already controversial and unpopular when it was first filed and the sole issue was whether a 15 week ban complied with Roe/Casey (it only became about overturning Roe when Mississippi amended their brief to ask for a full overturn of Roe after ACB

You seem a little . . . obsessed.

Really, because I thought he nailed the book character pretty well.

Chalamet is pretty much the way Herbert describes Paul, though. Literally one of the first lines in the book is about him being small for his age.

No, no, I’m sure this was the total truth. That’s why each red state fights an abortion referendum so hard...you know, because they don’t want to make the 30% feel bad.

Or, you could just go to a real university and get an actual, accredited education that employers and academics will take seriously.

One woman tried to become a teacher, and some faceless drone broke the news to her that due to lack of accreditation, her diploma

LOL talk about closing the barn door. 17-22 being what it is, I’m pretty sure that even at Liberty, at least 90% of the student body are just boning away.

I know you’re right, but I find that even more depressing. Imagine thinking (because you don’t know any better, but still) that Liberty University is an actual university. I wonder what happens when these kids finally get a glimpse of Animal House.

Liberty University is a double oxymoron.

I find myself wondering “What is dancing?” For example, if while waiting for a bus, a student started head-bopping to the music coming from the open window of a nearby car, would that be a fineable offense? Or what if during choir practice, some enthusiastic singers swayed to the rhythm?

An awful lot of the kids at Liberty, Hillsdale, and similar schools are there because they came from very conservative Christian families who didn’t actually give them any choice in the matter.

One of my proudest college moments was driving through Liberty University’s campus blasting The Outhere Brothers’ song, Fuk U In the Ass. 25 years later I still wonder how on Spaghetti Monster’s green earth that school is accredited.
