You see this with suicides. Introduce a gun into the mix and the risk of suicide dramatically increases. Turns out when someone has suicidal thoughts, they’re a lot more likely to talk themselves out of it when there’s NOT an instantly lethal method to easily erase their life sitting in a closet.
