I can understand the thinking behind Biden’s strategy here but the thing is McConnell does not bargain or negotiate in good faith. So any deal struck should not be considered rock solid by any means. That said, he can nominate him, there’s no guarantee he will be confirmed.

I fully agree. These people shouldn’t know a moments rest or peace for the rest of their lives, or as long as they callously remain on the bench. Honestly they should be impeached for lying under oath about settled case law, but tormenting them is an acceptable approach as well.

I may actually shed a few tears of joy when we finally see these images. The things Webb is going to see is the stuff I have only ever imagined about since my days as a physics major in college. Science is so effing cool.

Technically pushing “downwards” towards the earth wouldn’t boost the station. You have to fire it prograde in order to boost elevation which would mean shooting it out the back.
