I don't even try to make up excuses in favor of it, I just say they're… more fun. Analog media is more fun, generally. It's an entirely subjective thing.

How can one not know the Flaming Lips nowadays? They're one of the most mainstream bands in this side (the good one) of contemporary alt. rock. (not taking a jab at you, I just don't understand it)
