After many years of wrenching on all of my cars, I’ve become more of a checkbook mechanic. Having said that I will tackle the more easy stuff these days so I was actually able to kill one item off my checklist before the cold kicked in:

She mainly does local driving with it and had the opportunity with her employer to charge for free so it would have been a win win for her, but then like you said she could only mostly rely on the gas motor which was absolutely not her point of buying this model.

My niece had one of these. Her whole point was to have the E, then the recall with no fix came. She literally could not use it in E mode. She turned it in a month ago at end of lease. Zero help from JEEP on this.
