Certainly some marques are going to tick louder around 100K but realistically a smart shopper would research the make/model they may be looking at to understand what typical bombs (small or large) are prone or likely to go off.

No argument, those wheels are too big. Period. Otherwise this is a nice honest original survivor that is (nearly?) fully optioned. Missing a rear badge? No big deal. I say nice price.
Yup, I just don’t get it, well I do but it’s still baffling.
yup, too true.
agreed
I don’t see these rolling testaments to insanity often on the road but when I do I wonder for a moment why cops don’t pull them over as they have to be full of all sorts of moving violations and safety infractions, but then I think, would anyone want to deal with one of these nut jobs?
but he held a Bible up during protests and he even sold his own? What do you mean he isn’t religious?
I was once on a flight that hit rough turbulence on approach to JFK from overseas. I’m very immune to airsickness, but many others were starting to hurl into their airsick bags. That sound and some of the smell alone was enough for me to start triggering. I did not toss my cookies but that’s the closest I’ve ever…
While I like me a nice long roof especially in a 3 series, this seems to be one step above a base diesel on steelies. The original buyer sprung for the gas motor and that was it. The nail in the coffin is no AC. It aint that unique for me to sweat to the oldies. So yet again like the GTi, nice but No Dice on the…
true
I’m always baffled when you see cars like this stolen. Yes they’re valuable but they are also rather unique so other than rich idiots from around the globe who just can’t wait to get that C1 or hot rod legally, why do this? I mean they’re not going to magically show up on FB marketplace and nobody notice right?
When I read the title I was about to come here and call BS on the 1990 with 5doors and 16V motor since I bought a 1990 GTi new and knew that neither of those were offered in 1990, but being a JDM explains it all. That interior is mint and essentially what mine looked like (guages where radio should be and can’t…
I simply avoid those gas stations that charge extra for Credit card use. Most of the time I fill at Costco/BJ’s anyways but we have plenty of stations that don’t charge extra and are cheaper or on par with the Cash price at those other stations. While traveling, I try to avoid them but its part of the cost of my trip…
I recall that in summer of 84 my parents borrowed our neighbors Electra 225 to take me to college in PA and anytime we went over 55mph an alarm or buzzer would sound. My dad only found out from our neighbor that you could disable it but had to do it every time you started the car. God was it annoying!
I’m half Brit and on one occasion visiting my family we rented a narrow boat for a half day excursion. Was very pleasant and relaxing just lazing down the canals. We’d brought our own lunch and such and it was very enjoyable. Recently I’d gone down two rabbit holes in Youtube land:
this is very true... and like any good Alfa Owner I’m Always Looking For Another.... even now I have 4 saved in FB marketplace....
First time it happened I thought I killed the car. I grew used to it and avoided the big puddles. No fix even when I mentioned it to VW.
3-4yrs ag0 164's were dirt cheap, now they get $4-5K for meh condition.
