On my 1990 GTi if you went through deep puddles or heavy rain with the right side of the car, the water would splash the belts under the car causing them to slip and thus the alternator light would come on until the water was displaced/dried up on the belt/pulley.

Just about every damn Alfa Romeo I’ve ever owned (7 total) but its a draw between my GTV6 and my Giulia Super. I actually sold the GTV6 to get the Super..... Between 1992 and 1999 I had a 3 GTV’s, the GTV6, the Super and 2 Milanos (platinum & Verde). Anyone of them in today’s market even in their DD condition would

He does always seem to be down to earth. I read his autobiography written eons ago and impressed me with their immigrant work ethic. My dad was off the boat Italian so that always further endeared me to him. Most of my 20's my nickname for how I drove was “Mario”.

Now playing

Rider of 35+ years here and live in a state that requires helmets. I’d say one way of encouraging use in states that don’t require it, is to offer discounts on insurance coverage for your bike. This of course assumes the rider (like myself) carries insurance. If you get in an accident and are found not to have been

Came here to say essentially the same! I don’t need that $3K stereo at all. Or maybe he’s offering the system and throwing in the car as a bonus???

yikes! Makes me think of this joke I heard down south:

Literally the roots of systemic racism... I remember back in 1993 visiting the Atlanta Zoo and going to the “Cylcorama” where I learned that the Civil War was really the “War of Northern Aggression” ! As a Northerner, I felt quite dirty after that hour or so presentation wherein the battle for Atlanta was sorta

My biggest automotive disappointment came at one of those exotic/high performance test drive experiences held in parking lots was a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. I had signed up for a Ferrari F430 with the video and picture package. Drove the Ferrari, absolutely loved it and it was a dream come true. BUT, the video and

In early 2013 my Company was assisting with Supers Storm Sandy recovery. For 3 months or so we were renting a small fleet of 4x4's to access some beach communities. Mostly Jeeps except for the shit box Compass performed fine. However, we got a Nissan Armada one time and I had to go to the rental firm to swap into the

My 2020 CX9's infotainment has been the bane of our existence at times too.  It seems to take way too long to boot, then its downloading all my contacts (I have a lot) and if you plug in (no wireless Apple car play)too soon you freeze the system which means you have to at best stop and turn the car off/on or you have

Assuming I can knock another couple hundred off the price, I’d say NP. Replace or fix the tail light, slap a set of cheap new tires on and put in some sweat equity to clean the car up a bit and drive it all summer. Sell it in August hopefully for near the same price I’ve paid + put into it.

Those officers show far more restraint than I could have mustered. The whole circular nature of their argument is infuriating. What is their ultimate goal in being a “sovereign” citizen anyway?

Holly crap! this guy was me a year ago!!! I gave my daughter my 14 Focus Titanium and got myself an 09 Audi S5 for less than this budget. Now gas mileage locally is about 16mpg and it is not necessarily an easy to wrench on car, but with Quattro underfoot and a great chassis not to mention drop dead gorgeous, why not

2 of my 3 all time favorite Drivers!  If only Mario had been in the car it woulda been my trifecta!  I’ve met the King before and he couldn’t have been nicer.  Would love to meet the other two.

No one’s ever seen anything like this before, people are just astonished that the small plane attacked my, big, biggly, best Jet out there...

Me arriving with wife and daughter to take a weekend trip lol...yes I check my bags on those long vacations abroad but business or weekend travel I pack light/smart and it comes on board.

At the moment I hope its only bugs and stuff.... We had a house on our street that was uninhabited and barely maintained by the owner’s daughters that became known as the rat house for obvious reasons.  That was fun until it was finally sold.

Town I’m in is what you’d consider a beach or boating oriented community but we have laws that prohibit boat storage in you driveway/yard too. Is it heavily enforced? No, but everyone knows that technically its not allowed. Only ever irritates me is when the boats is enormous (not just your typical 15-25 foot boat)

I’d never really considered JPM in that category but he does have the racer’s heart of wanting to win in anything he’s in.  Great interview with him on “Off The Grid” podcast. I was never a huge fan of his, but gained a lot of insight into him.

Big towns too, he is and lives in a very populated area. It’s not often that I see anyone else like this around but there is one notorious idiot that does show up regularly at pro Drump events...
