This man thinks Ferrari's right...
You know it's bad when you read throught he list and think "Oh, 8/10". Only the seats and ECU are missing...
Met a bloke yesterday advanced in building a 700bhp (1000bhp to come but "baby steps") drift/track Mk2 RX7 yesterday - it was nuts ,but I really coveted his JDM Mk2 cabrio that was running 300bhp but looked stock. It's one for the "dream garage".
This reminds me of a trip to Lonon I made for the British Motorshow many years ago. I'd got the night bus down from Glasgow so had been one of the first into Earl's Court. I'd doe the whole show by 2pm and decided to explore some of central London.
TR6 - probably because they're less common and I adore that Michelotti (and possibly Karmann according to Wikipedia) body.
My dad had a load of these when I was young as he worked for a BMW dealer and always had one as his company car. We had the whole range from a red 316 on steelies (just like the one in the snow) to a 325i Touring in white with cross-spoke alloys.
FJ Cruiser - only thing I'd buy to replace my (not imported here either) Isuzu Vehicross.
Scottish and Welsh roads can be awesome - I've visited Wales a number of times and am from the Highlands so well acquained with the euro-funded super-highways to the middle of nowhere, but when it comes to proper driving for work (hello M1, A1, M6, M42, A14, M4) then the UK is a nightmare.
Ah, sorry I misunderstood. Yes, rural France can be a bit crappy but it's significantly better than it was even a few years ago thanks to the advent of the 24-hour credit-card fuel pump.
Suicide doors. We can but hope...
Yup...
Yeah, there are 3 things I don't like about the UK motorway network:-
Weird, I never find it that bad.
My second choice after the Highlands. I love driving in France, even on the Autoroutes which are significantly better than the UK Motorways.
Got to be the Scottish Highlands. Somewhere on the northwest coast would do just fine... Good, wide, Euro-funded roads with very little traffic.
Plastidip is always a winner...
Apparently (according to Twitter) quite a few cab companies have "hilariously" turned up to collect Mr Assange from the Embassy...
You know that was a reference to "Only Fools and Horses", don't you?
Have any of you seen Robert Llewellyn's (yes, Kryten from Red Dwarf) excellent "Carpool" podcast? Exactly the same format and it's been around for quite a few years. Robert collects someone, takes them somewhere they need to go and have a chat on the way.
