Gen Z includes people up to age 27.

I have like seven shops in a three mile radius, I can go shop and back in less time than filling out a form and sitting to wait for my order. Plus I can pick the freshest stuff not what the shop wants to move.

Embracer is still technically a Swedish company, so it’s possible/probable there’s something in the Swedish legal code that rubbed the Saudi’s the wrong way. Even if Wingefors is apparently happy to jump into bed with them on a personal level, the company itself is still going to be bound to Swedish laws as long as

I’m curious how/why the deal fell apart. Money seems unlikely to me, since Saudi Arabia seems to be able to easily throw around such sums, though I suppose it’s possible that something about Embracer’s proposed plan(s) looked too questionable even for Saudi Arabia. Also, both parties seem to be varying levels of

Are you at all aware of the conditions women in SA are forced to live under?

Lars Wingefors, if you ever get invited to visit the Saudi embassy in Stockholm - do not accept!

So in other words, a good thing happened. A publisher failed to make a deal that would have likely generated money for a tyrannical, mass-murdering regime that oppresses the freedoms of countless people... and has a penchant for literally chopping journalists up into pieces and stuffing them into suitcases.

That context tells you everything you need to know about this firm and their process. The Embracer model is trash and needing blood money to keep it running means it should probably evolve to be better or simply die.

A lot of these companies don’t seem to really care of their unethical dealings and businesses. What they do care about is getting caught. It’s kind of expected nowadays for expensive and expanding businesses to chase unethical dealings just to keep the doors open.

Anyone, individual or corporate, doing business with Saudi Arabia under the current regime should be ashamed of themselves. Complicit with murder, torture and misogyny, KSA represents one of the worst of human societies.

Yo that’s absolutely wonderful news. Fuck the Saudi royal family and the companies taking money from them.

I don’t know why they would need the source code, the permissions on digital games can be managed on Microsoft’s end.

“When a company eats a company that eats a company things get lost, and that’s very frustrating.”

I was thinking the same thing, what prevents them from re-releasing the pc version and the Xbox version via back-compat?

Activision: we bought them to crush the competition not to keep their assets available.

Dang, time to dig out a physical copy, then? If it’s BC, that is. Loved them, especially the second one. Just great shooters and unbelievable love for transformers.

Goddamn Activision, you done fucked up for real. Now even a licensee is tired of their bullshit! That’s a weird twist if I’ve ever seen one.

You should definitely demand your own copies for archival purposes when you farm out your IP like that.

Getting pirated copies wouldn’t be a problem, but then they’d have to reverse-engineer the games to update them for new hardware, update graphics, sound and so on. And that takes a lot more time and resources.

Maybe they ‘lost’ them to avoid a repeat of the whole Multi-World fiasco XD https://screenrant.com/transformers-optimus-prime-killed-himself-video-game/
