I believe the president of the university argued that we all need to learn to hear dissenting opinions and respond to them. But that’s the purpose of a commencement speech. if you want to expose your students to differing opinions, bring her in for a roundtable or debate with the student body.

I am shocked DeVos has lasted this long in her job. I cannot imagine her upbringing as a billionaire prepared her to be hated everywhere she goes. (I mean she was probably hated before, but it’s a lot more vocal now.)

We’ve looked into immigration requirements for a number of countries and most want you to display some specialized knowledge or skill to show you’ll contribute to their society. This has motivated me to ramp up my work skillset more than any teacher, boss, or life coach ever could.

I am taking another position for future presidential elections. I plan on switching my affiliation to Republican so I can participate in their caucus and help pick their candidate. Not because I want to screw with the system, but because I do not trust Republicans to pick someone who won’t nuke the planet.

I guarantee it’s something tiny or non-existent. I think he is doing all of this because of ego and because he thinks his friends are being picked on. He’s too dumb to actually collude with anyone. Now those around him? Totally guilty, they belong in jail.

It’s like that time my ex-boyfriend got that shirt that said, “I AM NOT CHEATING ON YOU.” It made me feel much more secure.

I think he and Obama are talking about taking a pottery class together.

But at least Minnesota has a great tradition of solid liberal politicians. Mondale, Wellstone, Franken.... And while Jesse Ventura seems like a harbinger of Trump, he was actually a great governor because he went out and hired the best people available regardless of party affiliation.

Sally Yates WAS wonderful. But it’s easier to do well before Congress when you have the truth and the Constitution on your side.
