That’s all well and good if you get a dealer who proactively fixes it before putting it on the lot or delivering it to the customer. But I guarantee there are shops out there who wouldn’t take that step because someone will buy it.

You can get a first gen V60 with lowish miles for under $20k. I don’t know how reliable these things are, but they’re certainly the best-looking car that meets the criteria. You can probably get one of those aftermarket warranties with the extra cash if you find one that doesn’t suck.

Nascar might be better suited for Jenner. They like crashes there.

As I mentioned in Will’s thread, the host’s before and after photos don’t even look like the same car (the "before" has a smooth dash and an orange sticker on the glove box, while the "after" had a textured dash with all stickers removed). It looks like the scammer went to a dealer and snapped a pic of a new car on

That orange face-swapped 370 is great. And I don't hate the Testarossa like I probably should.

Not really. If you buy a car for $30k over 5 years at 3.1%, your payment is roughly $36 per month cheaper than if you bought a $32k car on the same terms. Put that and an extra $14 in savings each month, and you'll have enough for a new set of winters every year, which you definitely don't need.

I just figured it was because they're all wearing sunglasses indoors.

I'm certainly no legal expert, but I am confused as to why removing him from the scene harms a criminal case. If he was over. 3 by the time he got to the precinct, then he was at least that when they stopped him. Refusing a breathalyzer is not an uncommon thing for a drunk to do so I'm not sure why a voluntary one is

“But regular traffic has priority.”

Over 80% of the US population lives in cities of at least 50k. That really shouldn't be an issue.

Y’all got anymore of them one dollar planes? Seems like a nice alternative to the whole container home trend.

This always gets me. Every time I help someone with car shopping, they have no problem spending the extra couple thousand dollars or more for AWD. But ask them to spend $600 on a decent set of winter tires, and they all balk. I know I’m beating what's left of the dead horse around these parts, but it truly baffles me.

Somebody saw an SSR drive by and was like "Okay, but make it Busch Light."

Yeah, this particular 2-tone looks like a cheap set of pleather seat covers paired with those seat doilies you see in a Toyota Century.

“automakers don’t really want to sell you affordable cars anymore, as they’ve figured out that they can make more money by selling fewer, but more expensive ones.”

I pretty much exclusively buy the salted Kerrygold from Costco. It's usually between $9-11 for a 1.5 lb box, depending on whether it's on sale. I'll keep a pound of store-brand unsalted in the freezer for baking, but the Irish is what stays out for consumption.

I live in dairy central here in Wisconsin, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen actual butter in a tub at a store. We used to get big tubs of the whipped stuff at my uncle’s restaurant, but I think even that was a “butter blend.” But all of the 100% butter here comes in sticks, blocks, or big 2 lb rolls (Amish butter).

Just get a rescue. They will love you forever and most are mutts, which mitigates a lot of health issues. My family has had 10 shelter dogs throughout my life, and only 2 of them were anything but the easiest, most loving dogs on the planet. The 2 exceptions are the GSP mix I adopted last year, who is super sweet and

I don’t think wood floors would hold up well in a car. With all the moisture, dirt, salt, etc that gets on your shoes depending on the season and where you live, it’d be pretty hard to keep them from getting ruined.
