What, exactly, is idiotic about it? All it really does is push the menu bar and system icons into the same horizontal plane as the camera, rather than below it. This gives you that much more usable screen.

I always liked the FJ. Not sure why it and the Xterra couldn't survive when the Wrangler continued to rake in money. If Toyota and Nissan knew what was good for them, they'd bring these back.
