Should have signed up for aaa online for $50 before you called the tow truck.

Given the writers' collective choice in vehicles, I'd say the inevitable.
100%. The base systems in most cars are trash garbage. I do think it’s a bit ridiculous that they go so bonkers with the speaker count when a quality 3-way arrangement in each door and one good subwoofer would do as well if not better. If you look at the people who build custom systems strictly for audio quality,…
I wonder how much Hyundai Korea is involved in Hyundai N America’s campaigns. Not that major US corporations have a stellar track record of marketing to anyone who isn’t a slightly angry white guy, but South Korea is far more racially homogeneous. It’s not surprising to me that they’d have a big cultural blind spot.
“We do the same things that other ethnicities do”
I think a lot of the problem is that so much marketing is created by and for the subsection of cishet white men that hasn’t matured beyond middle school. You can’t convince a woman that her penis will get bigger if she buys a new Silverado. If your only idea of a successful adult life is a pretty blonde wife, 2 kids,…
If these big shipping companies could increase their profits by routing a ship to Seattle or Houston, I'm pretty sure they would have done that a long time ago. All of these containers sitting still is costing people billions.
Is it? If I told you you could make 5 billion dollars profit at 30% margin, or 4 billion at 40%, wouldn’t you take the extra billion? Sure, you spend almost double the amount of money to make that extra profit, but you still end up with more.
I can't speak to the buying experience, but selling to them was a breeze for me. They picked up my car and paid me my cut within a couple of days of agreeing to the sale. They had the check sent to my lease company and my account paid off within a few weeks.
“He’s not depraved or sociopathic (probably)...”
We hate it when you drive here, too. It’s like y’all get past the cameras on that last toll and think that speed limits just don’t exist.
I’m just glad I never got my hands on one when I was in my Fast & Furious, Sport Compact Car, tune-all-the-things high school days. I shudder to think of how badly I'd have destroyed it with tacky graphics, ebay parts, and misfitted body "enhancements."
And yet, plenty of families in other countries live with smaller vehicles just fine. Many of those families also just have the one car, including people who don't live in the city.
I think it really depends on which one you’re talking about. The Ghibli and Levante? Yes, there is definitely competition in those segments that give you more bang for your buck, although I would say the options that lean more toward looks and emotion (i.e. Alfa) aren’t known to be terribly reliable either.
Traditionally, cheese curds you will find for sale in the Midwest are cheddar. You can get other varieties, but fresh cheddar is the standard.
This is why you just take an Uber. My local airport is admittedly small (Madison), but I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a person working in the garage in the dozens of times I’ve parked there (used to fly weekly for work before Uber was really a thing). Really wouldn’t be too hard to wander around scoping cars…
It’s all a grift.
Well, I had an estimated quote before ordering. But that was a Costco program price. In the 5 months between placing the order and taking delivery, the dealership stopped participating in the program. The price couldn’t be finalized until delivery because current incentives had to be accounted for. In the end, the…
Was it the AWD turbo in the signature trim? I was looking at the 3, too. I had a 1st gen a couple cars ago and really liked it. They've got quite a range of options now, and they can get expensive quick. But the expensive ones are real nice.
