Yeah - not sure where that criticism is coming from either. Not a single one of the supporting characters is who you thought they were at the beginning of the season. Even the Higgins character gets some depth.
That comparison is ridiculous and also spot on.
I’d rather not live in a society that functions this way.
Being gay is not a belief. The comparison was made to point out the hypocrisy, not to make the two things equivalent.
Private companies in the U.S. have mentioned plans to put a human on Mars but no one has yet come forward with a serious plan for actually making it happen. Billionaire Elon Musk has infamously said that he’d like to die on Mars, but his intention appears to be that such a death would come from old age on the planet.…
Glad to hear you support getting vaccinated. I agree. The rest of your post is a completely unnecessary attack on the author and mostly wrong.
I feel like this exact same argument could have been made when we made the transition from 3, then to 4, then to hundreds of TV channels... who is going to make content to fill all that airtime?
I still pay less in streaming services than I did for basic cable that gave me a bunch of stuff i didn’t want or need.
probably the correct approach if you don’t have the time to eat, live, and breathe this stuff.
All currencies are like this because all currencies, even fiat currency change value relative to others.
You are missing out. It’s worth it for Ted Lasso alone.
Ingenuity still needs Perseverance to communicate anything back to earth so it’s still going to be doing some “babysitting”. It plans to hop along the same route and potentially even scout out routes for Percy.
Somewhat close - I read that it actually uses the Zigbee protocol to communicate with Percy. On earth (in consumer devices) it’s effective range is about 100 meters, but I’m guess the thinner atmosphere and beefier antennas could increase that.
Do you? Because the “correction” is rather snarky.
I’m sort of ok with this?
If another auto manufacturer started advertising their vehicle as “crash-proof,” that would be bad.
But rather than doing everything they can to make it as clear as possible that their technology is not capable of the things people expect, they do as little as possible to cover their asses.
Nearly every “issue” that they’ve had is down to the drivers blatantly ignoring the warnings they are given by the car.
With this logic - cruise control wouldn’t even exist.
