The report from the Intercept notes that Cantwell’s $10 billion amendment seems to have been designed specifically for Blue Origin though.

I would totally understand if they wanted to gloat, but not saying anything is definitely a flex I applaud.

Obviously nobody really knows. But it is now an established law of the universe that nothing ever sticks to Trump. If anything ever does I assume the standard model would now be broken.

Careful with this. You don’t want to encourage anyone to not get the vaccine. The vaccine DOES reduce your risk of catching it in the first place. You are correct it doesn’t PREVENT it (it’s not 100% effective) but there have only been like 6,000 cases of people getting infected out of nearly 200 million doses of the

But do you know what’s more exclusive? Their God-given eternal soul.

Exactly - I figure the ONLY way that we ever get a multi-party system is if one of the two existing parties gets big enough that a split still leaves them with two groups larger than the other existing party. And probably only then if that shift happens VERY quickly, meaning the larger party doesn’t just slowly grow

Let’s hope they didn’t snag any atmosphere otherwise they were WAY off target.

I guess yall can just wait for the 6 part HBO limited series to fill you in on all the shit you turned a blind eye to because you need everything dramatized.

It’s not a maybe - people would absolutely be able to figure it out. There are only a 100 of them, and as far as I know they would be under no obligation to stay secret after they voted. Given that the republicans that voted not to impeach would be sure to advertise that’s what they did, I suspect it wouldn’t take

Mostly agree, but I do think the die was cast before he picked Palin and the party was headed that way anyway. I don’t know if he ever said this publicly, but it seems pretty clear that John McCain regretted selecting her. She almost certainly was THE thing that showed the GOP the crazier they get the more their base

I use RobinHood. I like it. Are they the bad guy here? Who’s the bad guy here?

This doesn’t apply really in the senate (because the elections are statewide), but this also means that for some elections in very blue or very red districts (AOC’s comes to mind) the primary is where all the action is, because the general is already a forgone conclusion.

As far as I can tell, none of the video that has been making the rounds thus far is actually from any camera controlled by Capitol Police (I assume they are responsible), but has been referenced a fair bit in the actual indictments. So it’s not that such footage doesn’t exist, just that we are not privy to it (nor

Other folks who know things are saying that it must take place after. Since this has never happened before I think our conclusion should be to not trust anyone who says they know anything on this particular topic.

There is definitely much confusion about this...

I know that’s a thing and I also know that it’s going around Twitter that one of those things that gets taken away from him is secret service, but it’s not correct. Those other things are true, and people assume that the SS thing is true too because Nixon didn’t have it, but that was only because he declined it (plus

No - he still gets that no matter what - and that’s actually a good thing.

I am so sorry for your loss.

But the Georgia SOS basically admitted it was his office though, right? I thought I saw he said something along the lines of “I didn’t want to get into another situation like we did with Lindsay Graham” where LadyG just lied about everything that was said on their call a while back.

You sure about that? I thought the fifth amendment protects from self-incrimination, and since they could still be charged by the state (because Trump can’t pardon for state crimes), I think they would still be able invoke it at the state level. They couldn’t at the federal level though.
