I like your point but... I think you are thinking of this the wrong way. Ideally people shouldn’t drive distracted, but given the amount of information available in modern infotainment systems, and the propensity for the average human to get bored that just doesn’t happen. People are going to look at gauges/center…

I know its been said elsewhere in the comments but... quality dishwasher that can blast through food without having to pre-wash or even really rinse. That and just quickly wash any pots or pans when you are done with dinner. Easy peasy.
