1976. Anything not made of metal is disintegrating. Seals, gaskets, bushings, hoses.  And 165 on the clock the tranny might be nearing its end.  

I have to call BS on this... They ALL cracked. And it was such a problem that the after-market tooled and sold an exact fit hard-plastic “clip-on” cover to snap over the top.

I dig the Fozzy-Skin* seat covers.

You also get hydraulics that spring leaks if you look at them cross-eyed, and get really expensive to replace. If you get a 1995 (and 1996? Don’t know when they fixed this problem) you also have to deal with replacing the wiring harness at some point. Not sure the buy-in’s cheaper, especially if you shop around and…

Very cool car, but...$8k for an old benz with 16ok on the clock? My pop picked up a similar one for around $3500 a few years ago. It was a cool little car, but I couldn’t see it happening for 8k.
