The III is the best looking classic vw. Fight me if you think that insect karmam Ghia is better looking

I think it had more to do with talking becoming more mumbled humming even when in that position is where that name spawns from

You're carbon footprint will never go down with a new vehicle purchase. Especially not one that needed lithium mined and refined to produce.

Maybe if they slapped ss on the side of it.

Isuzi vehicross should have made the cut. As a unique SUV for him. For a bit over 5k you can find the ironman supercrarged variant.

I would go with the golf over the Mazda 3, better capacity, better power train options, just a better overall car, I would pick the imprezza over the 3 for similar reasons as well. I think this especially because you have 2 sedans and no hatchbacks in your list. Also from personal experience Mazda 3s sucks at babying,

Not in Manhattan. Oversized cars have been upcharged for as long as I can remember, at least since 2012 when I had to park a work truck in a garage for a bid.

I need to be honest. My last job had me rent a bunch of people carriers throughout the years, to bring college students to competition.

Nah if it was like my dad’s front wheel drive commuter the only death of it was a drunk driver or deer. Sure the tailpipe would rot off and try to kill you but I think the tempo wasn’t terrible for a commuter from an American company at that time

Most kit cars are 1 of a kind and no one should pay 7k for them either

I agree for the most part but not for American cars by American car manufacturers.

I feel like more than the gas motor a proper notchy 5 or 6 speed is needed to enjoy the roadster as intended, and that goes away with an electric system most likely.

I need to disagree it’s a halo car not the hockey practice car. Buy a legacy if you want a compact to haul people around in, you don’t take a car with a 209 production amount to do daily tasks in.

At the end of the day I would have been more excited of they made a halo brz. I appreciate that they went through with making a halo car and cut all the red tape that comes with bringing a limited car to market but they should have made it a cooler car no matter the price point.

To be fair. Any Japanese car from the mid 80s to the mid 90s will outclass any other car made as far as actual build quality, maybe not the nicest materials but overall care and detail of construction can’t be beat, maybe a rolls is the exclusion.

I feel like the 4 doors hurt the halo aspect of this. It doesn't help it's performance so why are there 2 useless doors? You don't buy this to drive the kids to hockey practice in the snow....

Thats all well and good. I thought the whole point of the sti was to not be on the road?

Should have some nice all weather meat on it as well. Summer tires on a Subaru?

I agree it should have been 2 doors and more straight rally focused. Should have just given them an optional roll cage to make it a straight rally car. Could have included a sequential as well. They are making 209 of them for the us. If you made it crazy specific it would sell out anyway and be that much cooler

None of the previous were mid-engined. It was a nicely setup v8 with a traditional layout but that is not shocking at all that none of them hurt Porsche and Audi sales, it was a car in a different market segment. A good front engine car with a crap interior doesn’t move the needle in those price brackets, especially
