this made me go look up acclimation vs acclimatization (which was the word i’ve been using).. the answer is: “Acclimation is the coordinated phenotypic response developed by the animal to a specific stressor in the environment while acclimatization refers to the coordinated response to several individual stressors…
he meant acclimitization... acclamation means enthusiastic approval, but he meant “getting used to it”. which is funny if you think that we’re talking about climate controls. but i’m sure no pun was intended just incorrect lexicon.

the key mistake, is not using the 599 GTB which has the longer wheelbase which would have fit this design. the 550 chassis makes this very stumpy.
what a beautiful piece of writing, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Jalopnik has become this weird autoblog type advertising thing, nothing like what it used to be and i barely skim it anymore. but taking the time to read this made my day better. thank you!

there is a suspension fix which addresses the weird off-center steering. after that it becomes quiite pleasant
