once a Taycan owner drives a Lucid Air, where even the base model is more powerful than the Taycan GTS, and has incredible handling, much larger, much more luxurious.. they will never go back.
best car i’ve ever owned, regardless of IC or EV.

Lucid Air Wagon.
same here. my lucid costs me less per month in payment, than my volvo v60 costs me in maintenance alone.. not counting gas (the lucid also has free charging). no brainer, i’m buying a second lucid.
2023 lucid air grand touring.. the best car, ownership experience, everything, of any car i’ve ever owned, EV or IC. Simply exceptional luxury, performance, range (i regularly get over 400 miles drivign like a hooligan in mine). I’m a total converted fanboy.
hot take: Jalopnik writers are shorting TSLA stock...
that’s pretty funny actually. (because.. obvi.. but then again.. your comment could be satire)
this writing smacks of agenda. report it like it is, even if it doesn’t make for click-baity titles.
1. -old model line
2. -EV competition
3. -general slow down in EVadoption now that early adopters phase is over

Scenario 1: saw an advertised lease price for mercedes EQE for $699. visit dealership, sit for 20-25 minutes while sales guy goes to get a quote.. comes back, says it’s “not the best he can do, there is some money in it if i’m ready to buy today”.. the lease is for $1800. then asks for trade-in specs on my car.. says…
oh, you’re one of those internet meanies eh? pity.. reading comprehension would be good for you also.
the correct trade-off was made... efficient tire for an EV over a snow-capable one. everyone loves to post about a winner going down, but we know this is purely a tire-issue. once this is fixed, if the CT has the same slip-management that other teslas do, it will be the best handling snow truck on the market. Have you…
the issue with this truck is truly the range. the real world range which is coming out is sometimes sub-200 miles. just can’t mesh that with the original promise of 500. it’s just too impractical.
you are an enlightened human.
you must tell us what it is now. enough time has passed, spill the beans
i came here to check if this ended up getting COTD or not back 12-13 years ago.
hit and runs. i mean, what’s the big friggin’ deal?
i guess we know that jalopnik isn’t written by chatgpt yet when the word “cancellations” in the headline is misspelled... but it does beg the question of how the writers aren’t even running 1990's level spell-check before posting.
i wonder if this is the result of a yes-man, dictator-style corporate culture. I had visited Faraday about 6 years ago, and had the same sort of feeling.. except, the engineers working on that car were the best in the business and the end-product had a chance at being good. but the culture, from the CEO meeting on…
lets not forget the equally awesome Baja 911.. here it is at Hypercar Invitational 3 jumping the corkscrew at laguna seca and doing burnouts:
pretty cool article actually.. most would never admit to this. really interesting insight into how well this cadillac engine is made. good stuff.
interesting take. to my mind the dimensions are more of the equalizer.. with the idea of a 3rd row as an optional which i see in all different classes of vehicles.
