I don't agree with this characterization at all, but the comparison doesn't really make a whole lot of sense in general. The Walking Dead takes place after the all-encompassing, cataclysmic shift has taken place; the dead are already walking around and the few people who are left are trying to survive in the

The finagling here to get Margery's narrative to parallel Hillary's political career (particularly at the end) is painfully simplistic (ignoring the members of the LGBT community and POC that have suffered due to her "smiling and saying the right thing" in order to further her own political ambitions) and misguided,

"Kim and Naomi have the fashion down, but there’s not a compelling character under the surface, leaving them in Bob’s shadow as she steals the spotlight with her performance skills." - For the umpteenth time, I have no idea what the hell Oliver is talking about. Kim and Naomi not compelling?! And that comment about

Love her, but her snide, cruel dismissals of Sanders are increasingly infuriating.

Yeah, the trajectory of any star is less of a bell curve and more of a series of ups-and-downs. Gaga's efforts have largely paid off and Beyonce was able to bounce back from her 4th album's (relative) underperformance and find even greater success down the line.

I'm completely with you. I love a lot of what's here (Drone Bomb Me, 4 Degrees, Hopelessness, I Don't Love You Anymore) but then the couple of tracks in the same vein as Obama (Watch Me, Execution) come up and they're unlistenable.

In my experience, neither Bernie supporters nor Hillary supporters like the other at all and Hillary supporters have been just as nasty, though they're prone to personal attacks while Bernie supporters point to her actual voting record.

Her (shockingly smug and mildly homophobic) response to the recent victory with gay marriage made me think this as well. She has a pretty basic understanding of privilege and the political ramifications for broad policy positions, but nothing she's saying is really all that insightful.

It was one of mine as well. He was a mild nuisance throughout the entire series and Lane deserved better than some schlub she was in a band with as a teenager.

I don't know how you justify Gil or Dave being ranked as more important/just as important as Sookie, a Gilmore Girl in everything but name.

As much as I loved the irony of the US president literally in bed with a Wall Street banker, my favorite part had to be "Chief Suck-Em-Chode" and the dejected "how".

"The show has been lain into pretty mercilessly by critics" - Really? I'd never even heard of this show, but it seems like the reviews have been pretty mixed.

What about Rob Ford? He doesn't need your 72 virgins; he's got plenty to eat at home.

I'll phone the burn unit.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on that. If you're not someone who would theoretically find that kind of thing sexy (i.e. a straight woman or a gay guy) it's just a bizarre scene that seemed to have been thrown in either to cater to the straight men in the audience or to fulfill one of Sorkin's sexual fantasies.

Are you serious?! That's great to hear. I've been looking in the wrong places, apparently. All the major commenters I've seen have seemed to lean towards Hillary (not to mention the fact that I've had Hillary supporters get pretty aggressive in their responses to any of my vaguely pro-Bernie posts).

This was my favorite episode of the entire series so far. The puppet grandma made me cry, and the coming out subplot was insanely sweet, especially since those kinds of things are usually portrayed as miserable and almost always result in someone disowning the son/daughter.

I think that candidate will win eventually. If the Republicans can rally around an anti-establishment candidate (as awful as Trump is), we can too. Hopefully Warren runs in 2020/2024.

And what was the alternative? Voting for Hillary, who would also face unilateral opposition from Republicans in Congress and is farther away from our ideals?

I'm so glad I found one other person who voted for Bernie on here. We know the problem and we wanted the only candidate who did as well.
