....NO.

Ahh, should've guessed. My best friend lives there, I'm going to have to convince him to take me next time I visit

This is an awesome story but I was more distracted by the fact that somewhere there's a grocery store with a bar in it....

I sometimes hate it when people try to fight over the bill. Especially when they make it really awkward for me by both handing me their cards and making me choose. So I love when people do the sneak attack. I had my boyfriend's boss do that when she came in last week. She was on her way to the bathroom and pulled me

Yeah, I was appalled when I read that.

I had someone leave me a note on their receipt once and I almost cried. It was exactly what I needed after a rough night.

Omg, that is amazing. Maybe Fifi was one of those dogs that old rich ladies leave all their money to after they die.

I was the only other server working with her that day and since she was on her break, I had a lot more on my plate than usual. It would've only been slightly annoying if the customer had flagged me down and asked me to clear them for her. But to actively stack them and carry them over to the server who was very

I would much rather have the plates stacked neatly than to try to awkwardly reach over people to get their plates out of the way. I mean, I was going to do all that anyway, so you're just saving me on some time and saving yourself from me stretching all over your table. One thing I wouldn't recommend doing is stacking

Someone else pointed out that the manager is in charge of mayo until someone is trained as "Mayo Master." This could be the 16yo you're talking about.

NO, YOU ARE NOT WRONG. As someone who worked years as a barista and trained others on making espresso drinks, that is the laziest, half-assed nonsense I've ever heard. Plus that just sounds gross. Watered down espresso/milk is nasty. You definitely should have asked for a new one rather than suffer through that.

Ugh, I hate that. I've had so many people try to be sneaky and order something that was already clearly on the menu but they thought if they ordered something different with a ton of mods, it would be cheaper. It never was. IT NEVER IS, PEOPLE.

I had a boss like that! It was great. We had these two men who would come in religiously. One of them would make inappropriate comments to the waitresses and the other one would complain that we had to charge him 50cents if he wanted extra toast. My boss never failed to tell us to give their shit right back to them if

Well, I guess another person commented that the manager is the only one to apply the mayo until another employee is trained as "Mayo Master" and then they are the only ones allowed to touch the mayo. You know you've really, truly made it once you are deemed "Mayo Master."

That was definitely my high school experience. 4pm-11pm, 5 nights a week. Luckily I was a Senior and the only homework I ever had was in French and my teacher adored me and totally understood. But it still sucked to basically only have 7 hours to sleep everyday.

One of my favorite revenges was actually charging people for soy milk. I mean, I know I was supposed to but if it was a really sweet regular, I never charged them. But if they were uppity and rude, I did.

When I managed a pizza place we had day delivery drivers and night delivery drivers. The difference was that the day driver usually helped with prep and dishes and got an hourly wage. The only deliveries we usually had during the day were like 10-15 pizzas for businesses so we split the tips evenly. The night drivers

I never ate there! I'm just repeating what my roommate told me.

(scratch that. I didn't read your comment properly.)
