Boston. And yes, I buy the organic, grass-fed kind, taunt me if you will.

I really wanted to try the Satter method but the waste/food cost really stymies me. If I make 5 hamburgers for our family of 5, and our two youngest decide to eat only hamburger buns until they are full, 1) I’m throwing away 1/2 lb—$4.50—of good meat, and 2) there are no buns left for next time.

What do you do with kids who are already rude/out of control around these conversations?It feels impossible to have a serious/respectful conversation about any of this.

Seriously? My kids will now need smartphones to get the full functionality of their Switches?

Legal settlement, especially when a large company does it, means almost nothing. Many companies will—perhaps even have a fiduciary duty to—settle cases when they’ve done nothing illegal because it is better for their image and bottom line. If United fought this in court, they might or might not have won, but the

Disagree. What is your source for this? According to the article — “First off, you absolutely need to know that airlines have the legal right to stop any passenger from flying at any time, even if the passenger doesn’t want to give up their seat.” — this was my understanding as well. Kirk, can you please do an arrangement of Dream of the Shore Bordering Another World from Chrono Cross? Pretty please?

I wish this were coming out for the Switch.

What are diamonds useful for?

This only happens with the joy-cons detached, right?

Will there be an audiobook? And will you narrate it?

There is a difference between “it is safe” and “there’s no evidence that it’s unsafe” ...

If I stream it from FOX, will they play all the same OTA commercials?

Also applies well to dealing with children. Our middle one is going through a “my brother is mean to me so I have the right to do anything want (to anyone) or take anything I want” phase... getting mad or trying to persuade him how unreasonable that is definitely doesn’t help. Hard not to do though...

Dishonored 2 over Final Fantasy XV? Seriously?

All the things everyone else said, plus, you don’t know what sensitivities a kid has. Some 9 year olds are mature enough for things other 11 year olds can’t handle, and only the parents/guardians should make those decisions.

Sound advice. Note: Don’t give any kid a screen with out asking his or her parents first.

Maybe after I finish FFXV... which will take a while. The problem is not so much that I want to skip months, as that I only play console/PC games 3-4 hours a week, so it takes me forever to get through anything, and makes subscriptions feel like a waste.

Monthly subscription $$$ ;___;
