No. It is removable, so it can be stored elsewhere when not in use.

Seems you are correct. I always thought the slight change to the rear tail light and the headlight/side marker design occurred very quickly, as a result of all the malfunctions and other issues related to the 1997 model year Camry.

Look at pictures of a 1997 next to a 1998, you can see the differences. Taillights/rest has a drastically different look.

The 1997 is a standout for ridiculousness. It was so bad they redesigned a lot for 1998. The author’s car is the 1998, next generation-ish vehicle.

Most of the newer ones had this too. I was surprised to see one in a Lexus IS250 (the second generation of the IS) years ago. Definitely took me back to my 1995 Camry LE V6.

That is a less than common experience. Most Mercedes dealers do not use Mercedes vehicles for loaners. All of the BMW dealers around me always give BMW vehicles, same for Porsche. However, the Mercedes dealership usually has a row of Enterprise Nissan Altima rentals lined up for the service drive. That is in multiple

The whole point of the higher-end service experience is that you do not need to be there. Granted, Mercedes does it worse than all the others, since they rarely use Mercedes vehicles for loaners, but with the others, you at least get to drive something from the current lineup.

Those are the door handles. The window switches are in the center console, for the front seat. They are more visible on the one on Bring a Trailer.

The prepaid service plan is from VW corporate, and it covers the factory maintenance schedule with VW parts. So if VW says the car is supposed to have synthetic, then it will be an oil change with synthetic oil. It appears it uses 0w20 now, so synthetic seems likely. The trick is the maintenance interval. Because the

Kangaroo Leather is good for boots and belts, etc. Tends to stay looking shiny longer and is super smooth.

I thought the car cover was sitting on yet another car that was uncovered for the photo shoot. Not sure what it is.

In another picture, it shows he also has a fleet model white F-150 work truck sitting outside the garage too.

So I guess we know why they have not responded to the requests for more information...they already provided the information!

If you are shopping for the LX, then this is not in the running. The LX is a body-on-frame full-size, in the traditional sense, SUV. The closest thing size-wise in the Lexus lineup is the RX350L. The GX might be a quasi-competitor, but it really is in a different class, because of the body-on-frame architecture and
