Thank you. That was painful to read so many times.

Was surprised by the limiting to higher trims too. I just looked at both vehicles pricing and trims, and I am quite surprised to find that the Mazda is cheaper still.

Does that mean something?

DCT owners should definitely accept they have an automatic: I am not aware of any DCT that does not have the ability to independently choose the proper gear.

Except, some SMG and other transmisssions require driver input and choice, but do not have a separately actuated clutch mechanism.  I.e., the car will never choose a gear for you, but there is no clutch pedal.

No, because you do not have to shift; you can put it back into automatic mode.

No, because the decision is still the drivers.

Or, just buy the four six-pack sets, re-package as limited edition Volvo V50 tune-up kits, and sell for a profit.

Definitely weird to see them fetching real money. I remember looking past them in the Thrifty Nickel for the cars I thought would be worth something. Should have bought some of these along with a couple 914s.

In Texas, law enforcement will have a combination of red and blue lights. Hopefully, Texas will never adopt Oklahoma’s safety strategy of allowing every road worker to have red and blue lights on the back of their vehicles, from tow truck drivers, to construction workers, they all have lots of red and blue lights.

So far, for me, Lexus IS the only dealer I h ave seen treat people differently depending on if the car was purchased there or not. Still some of the best/nicest experiences, but they have a policy of charging for loaners and for the quick wash and vac that most premium/luxury brands do for no additional charge.

They are not just blinks things. They simply replace the hand gestures normally provided by the human.

It is note the existence of the damage form that negates it, just the fact they have the form is an acknowledgement by the operator that any disclaimer of liability is not legally valid. We (lawyers) always disclaim that this varies by jurisdiction, but I have not seen a jurisdiction where a bailor can eliminate the

See, if causation was proven, they would just be able to charge more for the users.  Since there is no causative link, at this point, they can raise everyone’s rates, because of the greater risks of being involved in a collision.

The government is not who needs to do the R&D; it is the testing companies that need to do the R&D.  Just think how much the government would pay for a test that would rake in a whole new type of DUI.

Though it would have been advisable to wear eye protection too, especially around the steam.

Agreed. After I looked at both the Craigslist ad and the eBay ad, I also noticed that on eBay it was $2,000, spent on the transmission, but on Craigslist it was $1,500.

Seems to me that you get a really good deal on a new Land Rover when you buy one this old, since the service loaner will definitely be newer and more reliable.

My initial impression was that this looks very much like a station wagon.

I was leaning towards awkward mashup of BMW’s take on a Subaru Outback based on the 7-series.
