Hoping to buy someone’s reservation; big local dealer already sold their anticipated allocation.

Almost perfect: have to go with the V6, for the perfect choice.

No. You suggested that the Corolla and the IS shared a base structure and roof system. Just wanted to make sure you were aware they share nothing in that way.

For starters, the IS shares nothing with the Corolla. The Corolla is a FWD economy car that shares no architecture with the RWD small luxury IS.

Agreed. Most people do not realize most euro nations are LHD.

Sadly, they are not as bright. Thus the horrible headlight ratings. They just look brighter from the approaching vehicle. The IIHS tests showed the LED were the worst for actual visibility.

The Macan gets a lot more direct enthusiast love, but the Cayenne is still pretty awesome. Go drive both. They are fun, even in base form.

Lots crappy plastic, but some of the most comfortable seats.

Was it painful to say you had an EcoBoost in your EcoSport? Or just annoying that they are pronounced differently?

I really wish someone that gets paid to pay attention to this stuff would have made the correct comparison, or at least acknowledged that the Fiesta was the direct comparison but Ford wants you to think that the Focus is the comparable car.

Thank you for pointing this out! I said this earlier this year, when someone suggested there was no logical reason to buy the E-Class over the GLC. (https://jalopnik.com/1823784109)

Plus that is not even an X5, it is an X6.

The first gen interior is just too dated.

I thought that was the whole point of the custom 4-speed, was that it was not offered with an automatic, and that they had to add a custom automatic.

Yeah, it is not a warranty to a certain mileage. It is for a certain mileage, i.e., 3 years [since you bought it] or 36,000 miles since you bought it].

Between the badge and the lack of power, it definitely is harder to convince the skeptical. The review also mentioned something else that made me think that if you were on the edge of spending the MSRP of this or something more, you would go with something else.

Yes. It also costs considerably more.

I assumed it was a wagon because of the lead image. Since he did just refer to it at as a regular Jetta, it likely is the sedan, and the lead image is very misleading.

I am still in the boat of do not negotiate until you have the PPI.  I am more confident a lower price is possible without previous negotiation and agreement, knowing all the cards on the table.

The BMW is not offered with a manual transmission.
