Sad to hear it. Oddly, I’m a Texan in OK. That is a tough loss.

A lot of the older guys, especially the ones with multiple collectible Porsche 911s, all swear by the awesomeness of the Macan GTS. Same from the younger group. I personally am impressed every time I drive it. I only question the size for baby seats.
No. I assume it’s because people buy them. But as Ferrari, you understand not giving in to pressure, and would think Porsche would stick to their roots and only do normal spots-SUVs.
That is cool. Maybe more vehicles will have it this time. Looks like only GM, Honda, and Mazda, have offered it recently. Funny how something that makes sense with the technology available is so rarely offered.
The o my vehicle I have see with that feature is the early 90s Corvette. Kinda impressed Honda is the only company selling anything with auto lock.
What vehicle(s) automatically lock when you walk away? I know of none, other than the early 90s Corvette, that you simply walk away from the vehicle without doing anything to lock. All proximity access systems I have seen you just hit a button or touch a touch-zone on the handle, to lock.
I was just wondering, how often do you actually use the fob directly. I kinda expected it had a keyless proximity access system.
Seems there might have been a malfunction with the automatic machine, as it appears someone is at the end directing the driver before shenanigans.
I had the same lightbulb turn on over my head. I commute less than a mile, and when I go further, I like comfy and lightly sporting. I should just get the Lexus for comfort and reliably cheap maintenance, and a cheap old Boxster for fun and DD.
For a malaise era American car, maybe. Out of all the Toyota vehicles I have had, none have ever had the slightest transmission problem. My 2003 Suburban needed a new transmission before 75k miles.
Very good points. I had not thought about Toyota like that. I just keep wishing they had a Lexus SUV in the style of the Macan is Cayenne, that is, a sporty SUV. We always want what isn’t available.
How are you ever going to make it to the E30, if you do not sacrifice the other generations to Dallas? Have to give you credit though, if you can live with having odd-ball vehicles on the daily, I think it is a good idea. I personally care too much for modern conveniences to go too crazy, but I admire those that can…
Okay, so you are just bonkers. We can dismiss your future statements. Not even the European classifications follow your designations.
Toyota realized the value in the 4Runner holding to its brand and created a new nameplate for the minivan replacement. Nissan evidently didn’t care about those customers.
FYI: only seat massage remote is wired, the video remote is wireless. I only point this out because I imagine the Fancy Kristen’s of the world want to know they will have to share the massage function control with their backseat companion.
Agreed. I was shopping these recently, and realized I could not justify the age and price for comparable non-hybrid prices. Can go 2013 or 2014 if skip on the hybrid and the executive seating.

Going to try an E46 ZHP now?
The trainer answered the exact question expressly on the Today show Monday, 2018-06-11.
True that. I am definitely not saying I would turn down a test drive if I happened upon one locally.
