Gunn’s one of the rare good guys in Hollywood IMO. He’s outspoken when it comes to moral issues (he isn’t afraid to criticize Trump), talks about taboo subjects in a thoughtful and sensitive matter (his post on Robin William’s suicide always sticks with me), and just seems like a nice, genuine guy.

The fact that he

“From the studio that brought you the Venom movie with the shittiest dialogue in the world, the Vampire Mobius movie starring that douchebag from the one alt rock band, and The Emoji Movie, comes.... Big Wheel!”

Honestly, it had the opposite problem of the Marvel shows*: slow boring start, but a really strong finish.

I thought Wally had a decent character arc on Legends. It wasn’t special, but it made sense.

Looking in terms of production companies/ distributors (a la 99), CW could save Lucifer (or pull the same deal with Constantine and incorporate him into iZombie). As for The Last Man on Earth, we’re out of luck :(. Fox also produces the episodes for Last Man on Earth.

Dammit, I haven’t posted the “Oopsie, you said something super dumb” gif enough.

Although I guess this news is NOICE

Man, that line Ash made as Ruby died was a killer knee slapper. BOO HOOO

HAIL BEEBO

Thinking about it now, I forgot that Andy wasn’t as well known until SNL (and my friends definitely were in that mindset). I knew him from his early early days with The Lonely Island. That may account for the discrepancy.

Really? People were anti-Andy? I know so many people who turned in (and stayed tuned in) BECAUSE of Andy (and then they stayed tuned in because of Andre, Joe, etc.).

Point out another media company that makes their local stations read the same forced talking points, and your point will be taken seriously.

> Most gun control measures are implemented to harm working-class folks, particularly black communities.

Killer Mike is progressive? My ass. Progressives don’t scream that Trump and Hillary are the same thing, or his far right anti-gun reform opinions (which, he’s always held. The video didn’t demonstrate anything new).

> Hawkeye as the sacrificial lamb

I’d say that too, but only because of the previews for next week, as well as the preview stills that CW put out a week ago (damn you CW!).

My favorite one that I heard (IRL from a friend of course) was that there wasn’t a lightsaber duel between two force users, which is now a requirement of every SW movie.

Is this take hot because it just came out of a dumpster fire?

I totally get if you liked Three Billboards! I had an interesting discussion with someone yesterday who loved it because it was a story about empowering women (that was not something I thought about) in the perfect time for such a story. But I dislike how they treated Dixon’s character arch (and the somewhat Final

Honestly, I really liked Lady Bird, but I’m in the camp of “Great but not supposed to win All the Oscars.” Personally, I thought Get Out (especially), Shape of Water, and Dunkirk (side eye me all you want over this) were better movies. Not trying to not knock on Lady Bird but I felt that it was not the best movie this

Black Mirror already tried this kind of silent, on the run from an unseen force episode. IMO, this was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy better than that one.
