Every time I use a coupon in the drive thru with the McDonalds app it comes out wrong. Sometime I get a free hash brown and sometimes I get a full priced hash brown but never do I get a properly discounted hash brown.

I know 4 people who tested positive. Two had this as a symptom. Two not. All 4 were super tired and had fevers for a few days. None had heavy coughs.
All of these sound like bad ideas but Texas is right. Cherry pie doesnt make sense for Thanksgiving. Pecan is a much better option.
It works both ways though. Not every person ha a skill set to work somewhere else. Walmart provides jobs that just about anyone can do. Its also a great place for a first job. It was my second job and I actually got a good work education out of it. I still remember that “You can choose your attitude” and that there’s…
Aren’t hot springs usually loaded with sulfur? Not sure I would want to cook a chicken in one.
Looks like I’m somewhere between Quiznos and McNuggets. I have always loved McNuggets so Im down with that but I haven’t had Quiznos in well over a decade. Are they even still around.
My dog eats a limited ingredient lamb right now and I think I’ll keep it that way.
When you say leaves a film on the pan what does that mean exactly?
While I’m not a vegetarian I do love mushrooms. Seems they have it online behind a paywall but I have a complete set of cooks illustrated books at home through 2019 so I’ll check there. I also found this recipe labeled from their vegan cookbook. Is it the same one?
They are very much a work in progress for me. There’s a golden ratio there somewhere I just haven’t found it yet. My mother gives directions to just add stuff till it looks or feels right, but I haven’t been able to watch her make them for the last 20 years so I don’t remember. It took me a solid couple years to get…
That sounds tasty. I was thinking about incorporating some cognac this year. I have a bottle of Remy VSOP that gives me heartburn now so I’ve been finding ways to cook with it. Cognac should work well with the beans and mushrooms.
Definitely do the bolognese for the meat factor. You could even make a turkey bolognese to make yourself more in the Thanksgiving mood. Also if you haven’t seen it yet, Allison has a recipe here for stuffed shells that are great for special occasions. It will be a little more work but they are essentially shells…
My favorite that I make is the green bean casserole. I do the high end versions without soup and even fry my own onions or shallots as a topper.
I grew up on caffeine free Pepsi. I swear when I tasted the normal stuff for the first time it tasted horribly bitter. Now I havent tasted a caffeine free Pepsi in so long it would probably be grossly sweet.
Ill be on the lookout.
Yes. Lets enjoy the fall before rushing to winter. Thanksgiving is the best day of the year. Why gloss over it.
Of note as of me writing this the link 404s at the NY Magazine site.
I keep Franks on hand for wings and eggs. Growing up in Western NY its was a staple at any restaurant. I dont think your crazy because we used to use red hot on ruffles chips so I know it pairs well with potatoes.
That lead picture reminds me of potato sticks. Remember those? They were the extra greasy alternative to chips that exist in those cardboard tubes. Those things were great.
How is making it later in November extending the Christmas buying season? If more time to buy was the goal he should have left it at the earlier date.
