Hey Jason, remember Chris Perkins?

If only we could find a car we knew his son would think is cool, that’s also fast and has a reliable toyota engine. How will we ever dream up such a car.
I mostly agree, only thought is some are likely only going to be for foreign markets so we may get 2-3, likely will see the 4cyl and/or the diesel in addition to bump EPA fleet ratings.
No. The 2GR-FKS debuted in 2015 in the Lexus 350 GS. First used in a Toyota badge in the 2016 Taco.
I got lucky and snagged mine at $24k all in. There were 3 others available when I was looking—two of them were going for over $30k and one for $25k... before taxes and all associated costs.
Cut the crap about “depreciation” on the GM trucks. Go look up 2009-2012 Colorado V8 crew cab 4x4s with high 5-figure/low 6-figure mileage. They are nearly all well into the $20k range. For a 6-9 year-old truck few people wanted. Any other car would have lost 50-66% of its value by that time, and likely more due to…
Except... the 1st-gen Colorado, a truck widely panned and nowhere near as refined as the new version, is currently selling for between $10k-20k with between 100,000 and 200,000 km on the clock*. So to say the new models aren’t going to hold value is frankly ridiculous, especially the more limited production versions…
The Rubicon Trail is one of the best-known and most technical rock crawling truck trails in the United States.…

At the end of 2014, Chevrolet dropped an aggressive and enticing off-road performance concept of its then-new…
Nothing says quality auto like one that has been built by some guy for a dollar an hour and costs over $100 an hour to service.

Wheres the snowpiercer reference when you need it?
There is no goddamn way this is the world’s dodgiest Yugo.
Which is why I made some quick and dirty 5-minute Photoshops of the 370z with 300zx headlights and taillights, or with 240z headlights. It’s the lights that I think drastically reduce the looks of the 370z.
Its not that hard to beat a google maps estimated time for forrest roads, and trails. They assume something like 5 mph average. That being said, these roads do have speed limits and they can and do nab people for going more than a little fast...though there has to be someone on the road at the time who cares which…
A nice maroon, or any of the darker reds, would look sharp too.
Lets be honest... I don’t blame the locked 4x4 on 35's with 450hp for getting stuck and sunk in a residential back yard. Thats 100% driver error.
It’s a pathetic figure that made driving this truck on the highway genuinely miserable. Even though the ride was actually really quiet and smooth, having to fill up that 36-gallon tank every 350 miles pained my heart and pocketbook.
That plant was so old and out-dated, it was only a matter of time before it was shuttered. Keeping an old, abandoned building around is not my idea of good urban planning. There is a new Dana axle facility being built on that site, as well as other manufacturing, so it’s finally being put to use.
