Are you living your best life? EUROTRASH E36 snow guy is. Be like him.

Imo, the minute you’re taking time out of your day... being pulled over, filing appeals, going to court... you lose, even if you “win” in the end.

As I’m inclined to claim, this old girl is my 1931 Ford Model A. I drive her as many chances as I get which, in the South, is quite a lot. I started driving it when I was 16 and later on it spent 2 years as my only car. Whenever Doug used to inquire what he should buy and live with, I never hesitated to tell him to

The difference with a car and an RV is the IRS treats an RV as a home. The interest is tax deductible and reducing the overall cost of ownership. The better comparison is to compare an RV to a second home and then the 15+ year loan makes more sense.

This is a lie from the pit of hell.

Then spend $500 / month keeping it on the road.

There are a lot more planes in the sky today than 50 years ago. The planes go slower so they won’t bump into each other.

It’s way more comfortable. My buddy with a Wrangler was making fun of my Grand Cherokee when we were in Mojave last year. He was sweating hard by midday from the sun and I didn’t even notice it was hot until I opened the door thanks to auto climate control and AC seats. That’s not to mention the long highway drives

Keep engineering cars to combat stupid, you’re just engineering the next level of stupid.

No worries, I’ll sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves.

The Epsom Green (who thought up that name?)

I’ve taken three of them to the mid 30K mile range and have never been to the dealership for repair. These cars have never let me down. Never.

If you are in the market for a used luxury sedan you can go two ways: you can follow the crowd and get something German or a Lexus, and there is nothing wrong with that, or you can get something a little different that gives you everything you want without some of the baggage that comes with the usual choices.

Probably unpopular opinion: Don’t bother.
Save the money, get a rental for jaunts to various places. In London you’ll have “fun” driving or parking even the smallest Slice Of America and will likely be stuck using public transport like the rest of the masses.

WHY would you bring something from the US when you can buy something better and cheaper (used) in England?!?

Cost.

It was a Primera though

it’ll be a lot easier than 2008 when this does start bursting.

This was my plan for a long time, but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. And if the heart can get you a 72 month loan at 0% with no money down, it can be very persuasive.
