A lot of people hating. Yea, its expensive, but I’ve seen these (non-Saleen obv) with V8s with 300k on em and still tickin’ no problem. OK, so a few problems but that’s better than a S10 Blazer of the same vintage, THOSE were junk everywhere besides the 4.3 V6.

We have no idea how fast they were driving. 55-60? Yea, no boost and I agree. 75-80? 100% in boost.

Yea, because the 5.3 isn’t boosting and sucking fuel to make power. And you get over 10 MPG towing and loaded at altitude?

Yea and? Every gasser gets miserable mileage towing.

If thats what supposed to happen than he was doing it right lol. It never felt like something that was good to do to the car.

My buddy had one for a long time. They never got off of the line because it would try and rip the front subframe away from the rest of the car violently.

I was agreeing and giving examples

Someone call Cracker Barrel and get them to build charging stations. Theres the I95 Corridor.

It is looks terrible from every angle except that one.

Range Rover, Discovery, Jeep XJ, LC60 Land Cruiser, Pretty much any late 80s to early nineties MB...

This, thanks. Street legal and “production legal” (?) are two different things.

M4 GTS has a glorified roll bar that sits behind the driver. Street legal probably isn’t the best term... but DOT legal maybe? I don’t think a car could come factory with a full cage.

Cages and harnesses aren’t street legal. Ever sit in a caged car without the harness and a helmet and see how close your noggin is to that steel tubing? Not something you want to think about.

I mean, yea, the 7.3 Excursion is one of those vehicles where everything lined up to make the perfect truck for enthusiasts at the time and it still holds well for people now.... who want an old clapper Powerstroke in a double cab short bed SUV with a teeth rattling ride.

You have to beat the shit out of those Audis to get them to do a anything right, but when you start dancing it is soooo good. Just don’t slow down because then you have to start all over again.

That Point Break comparison is perfect.

The 93s and very early 94s came 4.0/Aw4. Or 4.0/AX15 which could be had until 95 IIRC.

The lifter problem is only in the AFM motors. I’m not getting one that new.

I recently looked at a beautiful ‘06 Tundra DC with only 145k miles...

A starter is a wear item.
